ABOUT CLAIMS CONSULTANTS GROUP

Adjusting Services

Immediately following your loss we will provide an inspection of your damage and a review of your policy and endorsements to render informed recommendations at no cost to you.  Prior to reaching an equitable settlement with your insurance company, the groundwork surrounding loss and damage must be established. We will present a comprehensive assessment of all building and personal property damage by bringing to bare our extensive expertise garnered over decades of experience.  We will then evaluate, prepare and submit any Additional Living Expense or Loss of Income claim that either has or even may yet be sustained as a result of the damage to your property.

In order to expedite your express interests, we will complete an exhaustive review of your policy and endorsements to fully evaluate all available coverage.

This cumulative approach enables you to focus on business-at-hand, be it family or corporate operations with which you are faced on a daily basis, knowing that we are focused on preparing and submitting your claim to ensure you receive the full benefit of our experience and your available coverage.

Our primary focus is serving the best interests of our clients.  We keep you informed during the claim process, review amounts being claimed prior to submission and discuss all options with you before reaching final settlement.

Appraisal / Umpire Services

In many insurance policies, there is an “Appraisal” clause, which is a means to resolve disputes with regard to the amount of loss on a particular claim without having to pursue potentially lengthy and costly litigation.  In this provision, the policyholder appoints an Appraiser to act on their behalf and the insurer appoints an Appraiser to act on their behalf.  The two Appraisers then appoint a neutral Umpire, who is available to resolve any differences between the two Appraisers.  An agreement between any two of these individuals is typically binding and sets the amount of loss.

The professionals at Claims Consultants Group have acted as Appraisers on several hundred disputed property claims.  We are routinely appointed by not only individual policyholders, but also trusted by many attorneys whose clients are involved the Appraisal process to secure maximum recovery on their client’s behalf.

We are also certified Umpires, and one of our founding partners is an instructor of the Umpire Certification Course offered through both the Florida and Texas Windstorm Insurance Networks.  We have been appointed to act as Umpire on hundreds of Appraisals, during which we were able to help evaluate and resolve many complicated issues related to virtually all facets of loss and damage.
